Benefits of United Voice VoIP Packages

Compared to traditional landline providers, line rentals and call rates on 4G VoIP are significantly cheaper. You also benefit from free interbranch calling plus reduced on-net call costs.

Geographic numbers (e.g. 011, 021) can be ported from any existing service provider to a United Voice package. Once ported, you can then take your number with you wherever you go within South Africa, ensuring you never lose your telephone number.

United Voice takes advantage of uncontended secure IP networks to ensure calls between a client’s PBX and the outside world are of the highest quality. In addition, your business is not vulnerable to theft of copper lines or lightening damage ensuring minimal downtime is experienced.

Our national service centre and direct national service line ensure we have technicians on the ground in your area, dedicated service controller, a quick and easy call logging and escalation process as well as a quick on-the-phone troubleshooting guide.

With United Voice, we will provide you access to a free online Telephone Management System that enables you to easily view and download various call reports based on real time data including; call type, call duration, call costs and savings and extension reporting.

The inbound and outbound line capacity of our VoIP solutions are completely scalable, this allows you to increase the number of VoIP lines available as your business expands.

How good is the voice quality?

United Voice is run on a dedicated business grade 4G LTE voice service that is exclusively used for voice and is not contended with data streaming. This means our voice quality will not be subjected to congestion or high latency which is experienced on shared services and other internet connection types such as ADSL and Mobile LTE.

Can I keep my landline number with VoIP?

Yes you can. You can move any geographic number from any existing service provider to your new VoIP service provider.

What do I need to transfer my existing number(s) to United Voice?

Easy, all you need to do is supply us with a copy of your service providers most recent bill, copy of your ID and a signed authorisation letter. We will take care of the rest! Find out more on number porting.

How long does it take to port from my existing service provider?

It takes approximately 2 weeks to port the number across to our network, however we will ensure you have uninterrupted voice services during this time.

What costs are involved?

You pay a set monthly fee for the service; this fee will depend on which package you choose. Thereafter you are charged at pure per second billing for all calls made from the 1st second. There are no minimum call charges on any call type.

Can I use United Voice with my existing PBX?

Yes, we will integrate any PBX onto our United Voice service using a gateway or you can upgrade, purchase or rent a VoIP enabled PBX system from United Telecoms.

Can I make international calls?

Yes, United Voice routes all call types including mobile, regional, national and international calls.

Will United Voice work in my area?

United Telecoms will conduct desktop and on-site feasibility studies in your area and confirm feasibility results with you.

Can you customise a VoIP solution for my organisation?

Yes, we can. Should your organisation need more than 16 VoIP lines, United Telecoms can offer you a bespoke VoIP package to suit your organisation’s telephony needs.

Can I put United Voice on my Fibre line?

Yes, United Voice can be run on Fibre however this will be subject to a feasibility study.

How much does VoIP cost?

VoIP can save your business up to 60% on your monthly phone bill as line rentals and call rates are much cheaper and you benefit from free interbranch calling. Our VoIP packages start from as little as R430 per month.

What connectivity is required for VoIP?
