Available as an optional add-on on the United Voice Cloud Essential package, and included as standard within the Classic package, the application enables you to make calls from your PC without the use of a desktop phone. You can use the application’s dial pad to dial numbers or easily choose contacts to call from your contacts list. You can also experience the incredible freedom of receiving calls while you are away from your PC, when connected to a supported wireless headset.

What’s more, the UVC Softphone Extension also integrates with your desktop phone, allowing you to make, transfer and park calls directly from the app while simultaneously talking on your desktop phone.

The UVC Softphone Extension is a feature-rich business tool designed for superior communications and extensive functionality. Apart from the basic phone operations of answering, rejecting, transferring, redialing and placing calls on hold straight from the desktop application, the application also allows you to initiate, accept and manage video calls on any video supported desktop phone or softphone.

Missed a call? No problem, the UVC Softphone Extension is able to play, rewind, pause, delete and move voicemail messages to different folders on your PC, ensuring you always stay on top of messages received.

The UVC Softphone Extension expands the capabilities of your staff’s extensions with a call recording feature. This allows you to start, stop, pause and resume call recordings even while on an active call.

You are also able to send and receive faxes to and from the application and sync your Outlook, Apple and Google contacts with your UVC Softphone Extension contact list and call them straight from the app.

Conferencing Features

Take your business communications to a whole new level with the ultimate communications functionality – conference calling. Conference calls can be initiated and managed on your VoIP desktop phone or the UVC Softphone Extension. In addition, the UVC Softphone Extensions allows you to do a seamless transition of a normal call to a conference call by simply dragging one or more contacts from your contact list to the call window, you can add as many users as you need.

What’s more, you can invite an external phone number to a conference call by simply entering the phone number in the window. If you are in a group chat and would like to call all the contacts in the group, you are able to initiate a conference call from group chat window with a simple click of a button.

Personalization

The UVC Softphone Extension allows you to make it your own. Customize the interface using a number of different settings to suit your preferences. Prefer a list view to a grid (thumbnail) view when viewing your contact list? No problem, you can easily change the view as well as show/hide your contacts’ details.

Personalize your profile by selecting a suitable avatar and add a personal message that contacts can see. You are also able to select a caller ID when sending faxes, arrange and specify your module icons on the screen, make a Favorites list of your most contacted contacts and much more!

OS, Audio Device and CRM Integration

With the ability to integrate into various CRM systems, the UVC Softphone Extension acts as an essential tool to enhance your productivity and boost your workflow. It integrates with the following CRM systems; SugarCRM, Zoho, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Bullhorn, Zendesk, Vtiger, Pipedrive and SuiteCRM.

The UVC Softphone Extension can be installed on the following operating systems; MS Windows (Windows Vista and above), MAC OS X (10.10 and above), Linux (12.04 and above) and Windows Server (2012 and above).

The application will use any audio device installed on the operating system and also integrates with leading headset brands including; Jabra, Plantronics, and Sennheiser.

The UVC Mobile Extension is available as an additional add-on on the United Voice Cloud packages.
